1962 Chevrolet Corvair
Spyder Motor. This
engine is equipped with a Crower reversing cam
and produces well over
180 horse power.
The frame was originally designed to handle around 100 hp and had to be "beefed up" to handle the Corvair.
Note gas shocks and suspension on rear.
Aluminum beam front end and rack and pinion steering.
Rear shifter. It's all chrome, but a little dirty after a run
Disc Brakes on rear only (dirty after a run)
Corvair connected to a VW box and suspension. The transmission was gutted
and all new racing parts were installed. Blue hydraulic clutch slave
