the twelfth yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord
James by the grace of God Kinge of England ffrannce
and Ireland defender of the faith &c. And of
Scottland the seven and fowrtyth, I William Harrys
of Little Comptone in the County of Gloucester
husbandman being sick in body but of good and perfect
memorie god be thanked therfour doe make and ordeyne
this as my last will & testament in manner and
forme following. Ffirst I bequeath my soule to all
mighty God my sole Saviour and redeemer. And my body
to be buried in the churchyard of Little Comptone
hoping to have my parte in the resurrection of the
