John Harries on 24 February 1622. They had children
Elizabeth, Richard, Margery, Roger, and Anne. Alice Harries
of Callaughton died and was buried 21 March 1652 in Much
Wenlock.
- Frances Bridgin married Thomas Winne 14 February
1632 in Much Wenlock. They had a daughter Joyce.
Frances of Callaughton died and was buried 27 July 1662 in
Much Wenlock.
- Henry Bridgin and his wife Joyce had a daughter
Joane christened 11 May 1634 in Much Wenlock, on the same
day that Alice Bridgin Harries had a son Roger christened.
Henry and Joyce had children Joane, Roger, and Joyce.
- Roger Bridgin "an olde man" was buried on 27
February 1635 in Much Wenlock.
- Elizabeth Bridgin "a poore olde woman" was
buried 18 February 1640.
There are no other Bridgins found earlier in the Much Wenlock
parish register. It seems likely that this is one family who
moved into the parish in the early 1600s. Both Alice and
Frances were shown as being from the hamlet of Callaughton at
their burials, which was Joyce's home after marrying Francis
Frances. Bridgin families are found in the 1500s and early
1600s in Pattingham, Staffordshire (about fifteen miles east
of Much Wenlock), Tettenhall, Staffordshire (about twenty
miles east), Shifnal, Shropshire (about ten miles east),
Sheriff Hales (about twelve miles northeast), and Sutton
Maddock (about seven miles east).

1632 in Much Wenlock; had daughter Joyce (1639).
Frances was buried 27 July 1662 of Callaughton in
Much Wenlock.
4. Henry, married Joyce; had children Joane
(1634), a daughter (buried 1637), Roger (1640).
