Will of Samuel Mee of Kilbourn in the parish of Horsley,
Derbyshire, milner, written 9 Oct 1761, proven 7 Nov 1761
This is the last will and testament of me Samuel Mee of Kilbourn in
the parish of Horsley and County of Derby, milner, made this ninth
day of October in the year of our Lord seventeenhundred and sixty
one in maner and form following, that is to say, my mind and will is
that I may be desently buried that all my just debts and funeral
expences be fully paid. Also I give, devise and bequeath unto my six
bredren Josiah, John, Benjamin, Isack,
Jacob, Joseph Mee and my sister Liddy the
sum of seven pounds of lawfull British money to be paid twelve
months after my decease to each one pound. Also I give, devise and
bequeath unto my loving wife Elizabeth Mee all the rest,
remainder and residue of my goods and chattels and personal estate
with all the rest and remainder of all my money owing me of any
security or securities whatsoever after my just debts and funeral
expences and the money legacies above mentioned to my brothers and
sister are fully paid and I do hereby apoint and make Elizabeth
Mee my loving wife full and sole executrickes of this my last
will and testament. In witnesses thereof I have to this my last will
and testament set my hand and seale the day and year first above
written.
