George Wilsone and Bessie Johnstoun. Thomas married Agnes Grozer
26 January 1655 in Dalkeith.

children. At the christening of George's daughter Margaret in 1655
the witnesses were George Wilsone gatcher or gutcher (a
Scottish word for grandfather) and Thomas Wilsone unkill
(uncle). So George and Thomas were the sons of George. William was
also likely another brother.

George Wilsone was born in about 1590 of Dalkeith. He married
Bessie Johnstoun.
Both George Wilsone and Bessie Johnstoun were mentioned in the
will (testament dative) of Thomas Wilsoun, "walker at the
walkmyln in Dalkeith" in 1614. A walker was a fuller. George
and Bessie were mentioned in the debts owed to the deceased. No
relationship between Thomas and George was mentioned.
From the testament dative of Thomas Wilsoun of Dalkeith,
1614:
"Item be George Wilsone and Bessy Jonstoun the spouse"
owed Thomas a debt of three pounds
George and Bessie had the following children:
1. William, christened 23 July 1616 in Dalkeith; married
Jenet Gemill in 1642, and had
children Jean, William, Archbald, Thomas and Janet.

2. Agnes, christened 18 November 1620 in Dalkeith.

Agnes Hereon or Howrin, and had children William, Margaret,
Janet, Robert, George, Archibald, Alisone, and Elspeth.
*4. Thomas, born in about 1630 of Dalkeith; married Agnes Grozer 26 January
1655 in Dalkeith; occupation: tailor; buried 11 November 1713 in Dalkeith.
